Buying FAQs

1. Log in: You will need to use the same password you use to download the lessons. If you don’t have your password, please contact your Project Lead.
2. Select titles and quantities: Navigate to the ‘Order Curriculum Resources’ section, choose your desired titles and quantities, and proceed to checkout once you are satisfied with your selection.

All booklets must be paid for at the time of ordering. Payments are operated by the Stripe platform and Haringey Education Partnership (HEP) acts as the financial agent for Opening Worlds.

At the end of the checkout process, you will be directed to a Stripe payment page, where you will have the following payment options:

  1. Card Payment

If your school is ordering a lot of titles all at once, please check your card limit – You may need to divide the quantity ordered over two separate orders – we will reimburse the second delivery fee.

  1. Bank Transfer

If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you’ll receive two emails:

  1. Order Confirmation Email – This acts as your Proforma invoice. Please keep it for your records or finance team.
  2. Payment Request from Stripe (support@stripe.com) – Stripe uses unique virtual bank account details for each order, so always refer to the latest payment request email. These details may change between orders. If your Trust finance team is separate from your school, they will need this also.

To view the bank details along with your order number, click the green ‘Open in your browser’ button in the Stripe email. Do use the details contained in the relevant payment request each time.

Please Note:

Make sure to whitelist both openingworlds.uk and stripe.com to ensure you receive all emails.

Your order will remain on hold until you pay in full by bank transfer and we confirm payment has been received.

Payment is usually verified within a few hours but may take up to 3 days, which may slightly impact delivery

Once your payment has gone through, you will receive an invoice which acts as your order confirmation.

We strongly recommend not placing an order less than 10 working days before the end of term/ half term in case the delivery arrives when school is closed.

You will receive an automated tracking notification from our delivery partner once your order has been processed, fulfilled and despatched. You will be able to track delivery progress and make sure someone in your school will be available to sign for the delivery.

Neither us nor our delivery partner can accommodate individual time or date requests.

Open all boxes and verify that everything is included. Every order will include a picklist in the first box. If there are any discrepancies between what you ordered and what you received, please contact us immediately at booklets@openingworlds.uk with your original order number, a quick description of the issue and we will rectify it.

If you still haven’t received your order two weeks after placing it, time, please let us know, and we will investigate the delay.
Contact us with the original order notification or receipt to booklets@openingworlds.uk

If you realise your mistake instantly after placing your order, please contact the booklet team with your order number – we will cancel it on the system, confirm this with you. After that, you can put the correct order again.

If you realise on reception that you have ordered too many and/or the wrong titles, we will arrange return to the mailing house and issue a credit note, with a £40 deduction for collection and return.

General

From time to time, in response to feedback or shifts in subject scholarship, we do make minor changes to the booklets. These updates will not affect your delivery of the curriculum or warrant the replacement of the booklets.

Only the titles listed on our site are available for purchase. If a title is out of stock, this will be mentioned on the paperwork included in your delivery and will be sent automatically once reprinted.

For any questions/issues about your order, please attach your original order notification/tracking link in any communications with us to help us to support you.

If your order was placed too close to a school break and is lost, we will do our best to locate it, but you may need to place a new order. At the point of checking out you will be reminded of this and once your order is dispatched, you will be able to track the progress of your order yourself.

The booklets@openingworlds.uk contact will prioritise queries on existing orders and be there to help fix anything that is in our power.

General questions about membership, training, password, implementation days should be redirected to your Project lead, who is your liaison with the programme.
